Not released yet but looks to be not far away..we all know Ant's Tiger Moth...this is payware though. Nice that it includes some Kiwi paints ...

Yes I know Ian no more GA but I might get this one (depending on price) as I was thinking about learning to fly in one of these IRL (one day when finances allow) so...

Paul,

If you're ever in Auckland I would be more than happy to take you for a ride in my Sierra which is based at Ardmore.
I helped Ant do the flight testing for his model and I can assure you and everyone else it's very realistic and, like the real thing, a delight to fly.
He has very kindly done a paint job for my aircraft ZK-NPS which means I get to fly it in the virtual and real worlds.
If you think his Tiger Moth is superb then this is much better.

Best,

Rod

Ian, you're on.
Happy to oblige.
Email me: glenmark@xtra.co.nz and we'll set something up.
I think you'll find the Sierra is a lot of fun.
As a recreational pilot inthe real world I've done GA and LSA and I know which I prefer and it's not GA!

Have you guys taken a look over at the just flight website, they are developing a highly detailed Piper sport, (The new version of the "sportsCruiser" - aerosport aviation in Hamilton are selling. Piper are the new manufacturers. Comes with a NZ paint scheme as well. Ants Sierra looks very good. I've flown a couple of hrs duel in a technam P-92 echo, Very nice handling aircraft. I cant wait.

Whohoooooo.....

Its great, flies like a dream, I was lucky enough to fly one
over here in WA(YBUN) early this year, and my first impression is, he has really nailed it.

Some more reports/screenies tomorrow.

Nice one. I see that the tree has grown heaps since the scenery was made - and it's moved, too! Magic! ninja.gif tongue.gif

I think I may have to get that. Looks perfect for flying around Aussie. What's it's like performance wise?

Great for shorter hops ,cruises around 110kts.

Good acceleration out of small strips, and lands fairly
slow with flaps 40, about 45-50kts.

Works good in multiplayer, no FPS hit, we hope to have at least 10 in the air by next Fri for our
OZx club flight.

so yeah.... so far, its all good biggrin.gif

cheers thumbup1.gif
