Has anyone here attempted to model a Spitfire?

The Spit on a stick At Spitfire Square, NZCH, would be a nice addition to my airport, but I probably won't have the time or skills to add it. I was wondering if someone had any sort of simple Spitty, which they might have built at some stage.
The original XVIe is at Wigram now, I think, with the replica on display on Memorial Ave.
