Carenado Opinion Requested

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby SeanTK » Fri Oct 11, 2013 11:37 am

I'll probably hold off on a Carenado purchase until after this month's screenshot contest in the highly unlikely chance that I could win, but I've been looking at the Rockwell Commander 114 for FSX.
It seems like it was a solid-looking, but low-selling Carenado product. It looks interesting enough though, so I'm wondering if anyone here has it and can give an opinion.

Thanks,
Sean

Sean,

I have used it. You are right in that it is not one of their most popular products, but the aircraft itself is quite good. I'd consider it decent.

I've got it in my hanger at the moment, will get some screens up as soon as I can!

I really like it, and there's a flight model patch available in the Flightsim.com file library which tidies up the handling a bit. To be honest it's pretty decent straight out of the box though.
