HHHmmm what other aircraft used to have 40 odd seats, a high wing, twin turbo props and a lass or lad in the back? (actually they had 2 at one time). The traveling public never realised how good they had it back then.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Beats me why a really good quality F27 has not been produced by a mainstream developer.

Im with you,...... beats me too.
My absolute all time favourite twin-turboprop is the F27 , and, ohhhhhh, the absolutely unique and unforgettable sound of those RR Darts !!
Havnt got enough fingers and toes to count the amount of times ive flown on an F27 in my younger days.
