This aircraft appeared as freeware in 2003 for FS2002. I just plugged it into FSX, and other than having a blank VC due to primarily needing the FS2002-era Lear45 gauges (the years before XML!) and lacking some FSX features such as shelf-shadowing, it seems to hold up VERY well for being a 10-year-old freeware model (the upload date at SimV is since the new website design). It's exceptionally quick yet very stable in the air, and will be my next little tweaking project once I return from a trip.
I'm going to dig out my FS2002 CDs to determine if the requested Lear 45 gauges (and Cessna 208 gauges + others) from that era work in FSX, which will hopefully save me significant time. Then, I'll get to painting and hopefully bring new life to this old favorite of mine.
If you have your FS2002 data readily available, plug the requested files in (called for in the panel.cfg) and try the aircraft out in FSX! (Note: I disabled the 2D window calls as that seemed to screw up the view in FSX, so it'll be a VC only affair, but it should work out well.) More to come...
