Another new Venom from Rob Richardson - Kiwi connection

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Rob Richardson has released another new Venom, the Swiss-built FB54. The supplied repaint is of the second ZK-VNM in the spectacular red and white colours of the Swiss Air Force display team. She's great for ripping around the new Christchurch scenery. thumbup1.gif

While researching this plane's "biography", I was sad to read she crash landed at Hood last year while practising for Wings Over Wairarapa. Does anyone know if she's airworthy again yet?

Thanks,

Ade

The very same Venom that streaked over the crowd line on arrival , practice Friday 1994 Warbirds over Wanaka cool.gif

Hell of day that one , two traction engines , one at the front and the other at the back crash start a Centurion MBT ... impressive . ohmy.gif

Thanks Paul.

Sad, but thankfully the pilot got out unharmed which is the main thing. Interesting post... good to know there may well be a ZK-VNM/3 before too long.

I'd love to see Warbirds Over Wanaka, haven't ever managed to be over at the right time of year unfortunately, although I have the official show DVDs going back to 1998.

I'm very sure the early shows must be available on DVD by now , i'll source it out .. the shows in the 1992-98 were the better with the Sir Tim influence and course his display style .

Do you need Acceleration for it to work or will SP2 suffice?

Rob's next release in the series is the second Vampire prototype LZ551/G, the first jet powered aircraft to make a carrier landing.

Info and screenshots here: Rob's Aero Files.
