Repaint request: T-28 Trojan

Does anyone know whether there's ever been a repaint done of the Ardmore Trojan?

The amazing freeware Dwight D. Eisenhower (by Javier Fernandez) parked off NZAA.

I got fed up of trying to land my shiny new Aussie Superbug and opted for something about 1/4 of the speed laugh.gif

Alphasim have released a paintkit for their T-28, so I wondered whether (after the Rapide) I could have a go at this <??>.

Is the ALPHA one roughly the same mark/model even?

@Ian ... *please* don't mention multiplayer laugh.gif

No repaint I know of but of all the T-28s at this end of the world (Australasia) the Ardmore one is the closest to the Alpha model as it has a tail hook...nice pics BTW

Thanks, Paul ... sounds like that's a green light winkyy.gif I'll be sending out a few requests for original pics. There's slight chance it may be at NZNE tomorrow for the open day, but I doubt it. I wonder if a certain Mr. Conroy has any to spare laugh.gif

I whipped up a repaint for this one about two months ago for personal use. Its not quite where it should be but can easily be fixed.

I only just got it ... after buying the F/A-18 Superbug ... and wanting to try a few carrier landings. I was a bit wary of it at first, as I had a horrible experience with the Abacus Flight Deck (yuk!!!) ... but this freeware one is about 1,000 times better.

The Superbug is great ... and the carrier is great ... but my "landings" are ... well ... let's say "Wave Off!" and "Go Around" seem to play like a repeat audio loop sad.gif

The Trojan is a better combination, but I suspect I'd hit the 3rd wire every time with my Airtruk Naval variant laugh.gif

@LF - did you do a repaint for a T-28 with a tailhook?
