Orbx Lancair question.

With the recent big sale, I'm sure Orbx sold more Lancairs than one to me and another to a guy in Germany. Both of ours have some serious problems - like at least 50% missing textures, no landing gear to name a couple. Curious if anyone else out there got in on this super good deal - as I wait for an Orbx response .

Possible a corrupt download ? with all these sales and not , I recently purchased the Wilco Harrier and it had all sorts off problems , after another download all worked fine .

Hopefully that's what they'll offer. My experience with them is that the 'customer is usually wrong' so we'll see.

Shame about the Lancair, nice looking machine, surely it'll be sorted out.

I got in on the scenery action at the sale, bought YBBN airport and the Gold coast scenery/textures wotsit, pretty keen price. Am loving the Orbx scenery, looking awesome once the settings all configured to suit

Do you have EZCA camera addon and forgot to run the configurator before flying?? Thats exactly what happens to any plane I install with out taking that necessary step each time I load a new plane. I have the lancair and its a sweet plane however i have yet to install the v1.2 patch.

No, I've been caught several times forgetting the configurator so that's the first thing I checked. There's a complete, flyable aircraft in FSX view mode but garbage with EZCA.

Well, did one of those big-time defrags and, whether or not that was the cure, it works as advertised and we'll be blazing around NZ at 200+kts up at FL200.

Dave - the many things people don,t do is a regular defrag , for FS it is seriously required ! least every 10 days .
