Air New Zealand Connie

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby gojozoom » Sat Nov 22, 2008 10:47 am

Hi all,

I love propliners and actually, almost all of them served in New Zealand at some point. Almost... I couldn't find any Connies. So I decided to create one. Some of you will laugh at this, some others will like it - hopefully. So this is a fictional Air New Zealand Connie Starliner. If you have any idea for improvement before I upload it to AVSIM please let me know.

Smooth landings!

Yes I know what you mean, but to be honest, I don't like TEAL's design. I know it's not authentic/realistic like this, but I HAD to try Air New Zealand. rolleyes.gif

Let's say that Air New Zealand bought one, renovated it and makes historical flights with it smile.gif

not the 60s TEAL of the stars , pre that of the era of the Connie .. it was just a cheat line and company logo ... back then the KORU was'nt even invented tongue.gif

Well, I know what you're trying to do and without getting "hung up" on the PC aspect of it, I think it looks brilliant - pity NAC couldn't stretch to a few of those sad.gif

Looks good. The only change I'd make is to reverse the swirling stripe on the left side of the aircraft, so its highest point is at the rear, and the lowest point forward, just like the RH side.
