Repaint resolution

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Hi plane painters,

I'm trying to create a high-resolution repaint for the freeware connie starliner. I used the paintkit but for some reason when I load up the aircraft in fs9 after hours of work in Photoshop, the texture is kind of blurry ad not sharp at all. I'm sure this is not about FS9 because all the other planes are fine, and realistic. Should I double the BMP file size to make it sharper?
I use DXTBMP and Photoshop CS3.

All the best

When you save the extended BMP out of DXTBMP try un-ticking the checkbox on the right that says something like "save Mip maps"

Also check your alpha channels, you need a minor bit of alpha applied for crisp paints
