Thanks Trolly. That should do the job. It is a while since I have installed an aircraft so I will try it on my
FS9 to see if it will suit him. Appreciate your help. Cheers.

A quick query if you don't mind. I downloaded the full aircraft with three textures. Do I put in the three textures or just select one. I am a bit out of touch
with FS and the old brain not working as it should.

You're looking at something with three folders like "texture.Name1", "texture.name2" etc etc? :)

Usually how this works is:
  • Aircraft folder - lets call it 'Aeroplane' - (inside which are folders called model, sound, panel etc) goes into the 'Aircraft' folder of FS9
  • Textures go inside the 'Aeroplane' folder (although if you downloaded the textures with the aircraft they will most probably already be there)
Hopefully this helps a wee bit. :)

..or you could try the Just Flight Tiger Moth which has a NZ scheme with it.. is also available at Aeroplane Heaven (the developer) ...payware though but very nice and accurate.

That one looks much better but may be too expensive for my friend. You can certainly see a difference between the free and payware aircraft.
I guess I will keep looking.
