A340-500: 3 Votes! Incredible, balanced design, looks especially good in Emirates colours
Constellation: 2 Votes! Garden rake look, Always worried, if you stepped on its tail, would it whip up and smack you on the nose :P

...and, I haven't voted yet B)

Well, if you stepped on its tail Charl, that would mean it would have to be on the ground first. NO aircraft is beautiful on the ground,..............only when they are in their element.................. in the sky, where they belong. So many look very beautiful in flight,.......................... until the dangling Dunlops drop out and they alight upon the ground. Just like and Eagle, incredibly beautiful soaring in flight, but the bird just looks out of place on the ground out of its element :P

I voted for the Constellation, more to do with what it represents -- the culmination of the Golden Age. That was the time when visual design was almost as important as aircraft design. What began with the flying boats, and ended with aircraft like the Connie, was the time of character (and characters), romance, elegance and class.

Well it was a close thing, both Concorde and Spitty are truly beautiful aircraft.
The 737 ain't actually bad looking, many thanks to all those 737 admirers who were restrained enough not to vote in this poll
Trolly has been persuaded to make the winner here a screenshot comp theme.
Can't wait
