Justflight's one is my favourite. Payware but well worth it!

Andrew,

Thanks for the reply, I already have the Just Flight Tomahawk myself, but was just looking for a freeware model I could repaint and give a friend.

I managed to finaly get the Carenado one to work in fs9 but I don't recomend it, its so unrealistic, it climbs more like a jet than a PA38, I had my introductry flight in a tomahawk and I can tell you it didnt climb at over 100kias! lol

I am not aware of any other freeware ones eathier..

Haha I didnt pay much attention to the flight dynamics, though I believe you james. One annoyance about the Carenado model is that even with the engine stopped, the propellor is invisible.

Hi Rob

There is a new freeware Tomahawk model uploaded on Avsim a few weeks ago (try piper_tomahawk.zip). It is just about as good as the Just Flight model although the exterior shape does not quite look right to me otherwise the VC, panel, flight dynamics etc are good.

Cheers

Mate, a Tomahawk in a dive wouldn't make 100 knots. :P
