I'v been trying to find the patchfrom eric's websites's "FAQ" section, but I can't find it anywere (its not on his server anymore).

So I decided to pop him a e-mail asking were the patch is gone and that I can't seem to be able to use the panel with out this fix.

Well with in 12hours I got a reply saying "I am sorry to say these panels are not maintained any more."

Thats quite sad :( I really like his panels, I'm woundering if anyone has this patch file? even though I can't use it at the moment id still like to have it for when my pc is working again :P

If you do can you please e-mail it too jimmyhm1@hotmail.com :)

Thanks

There are some lovely aircraft available from Flightsim.com 'Hot files from yesterday" section.
The Cessna 206 and the Piaggio trainer(don't forget the fix as well) and the Spanish Eurocopter 135 are all very well done.
It seems with FSX so close alot of people have pulled finger to release what they have spent hours on before it becomes obsolete.
It sure will be interesting how many people will still do excellent FS9 work.
I suppose if you are an aircraft purist and are not too concerned with all the eyecandy of FSX then FS9 will be quite satisfactory.
The more time I spend with that FSX demo the more I like it. The scenery itself being the mesh and landclass has not yet grabbed me but the aircraft itself is great even on my now lowend system.
However I simply cannot afford to upgade anytime soon but I'll keep a close eye on what people decide is the right setup for FSX without going overboard. This will take at least 6 months after release for everyone to get used to it.
Interesting to note that on the news they said that 40% of people upgrade which to them means replace their computers every 2 years!. I was suprised and saddened by this thinking of all those good parts filling the landfills.I know we live in a throw-away society but to what extent I didn't know.
To spend $2000 every 2 years is $20 a week. Will we be able to get something that does justice to FSX for $2000 or less? I sure hope so. :(
2 wrongs don't make a right but 2 Wrights made an aeroplane!
