now that i have fixed one issue though, i cant quite understand how to use an EZ scenery library. am i supposed to create a folder, then scenery and texture, and then add all the items listed in the readme to these folders? because if so, i cant quite understand how this will work...
In your Addon Scenery Folder, you need to create a folder named "Static Objects Library".
Within that SOL folder you should create a folder named "Scenery" and a folder named "Texture".
(This is just like any NORMAL addon scenery,........... the First folder is the NAME of the scenery, and within that folder are the "Scenery" and "Texture" folders.)
From the EZ Scenery download zips,...........
All items ending with the file extensions .bgl .xml .mdl .txt go in the "Scenery" folder within the SOL.
All items ending with the file extesion .bmp go in the "Texture" folder with in the SOL.
Once you have a certain object set installed in the objects library, you dont need to download it every time you install a scenery that uses objects from that particular set,..... as you will already have it.
You must "activate" the Static Objects Library" folder within the sim, just like you would any other addon scenery.
If for example, you have my NZDN Dunedin scenery,......... once the required objects sets are in the SOL, just Move the folder named "Dunedin_NZDN" into the Addon Scenery folder and activate it. Re-start the sim, and go have a look at it........................
See the following NZFF links for more info on my FS9 sceneries in FSX.....................
