Hi, I want to have a go at making some photoreal terrain, and I found this website which has a tutorial on it for FS9 : Photoreal terrain tutorial

However, one of the files I require to do it (there might be another way but hey, this looks simple enough  ) I can't find.

This is the file I need:
fs2002_downloads_sdk.asp

The original URL was this :Custom Terrain Textures SDK - http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...wnloads_sdk.asp , But you now get redirected somewhere else.

I've tried :google: but no luck. If anyone has it, or know where to get it, please reply.

Thanks alot

Nick

I don't think you'll find that easily, many of the FS2002 SDK elements where not readily available on the web, as they were part of FS2002 Deluxe. However if you are creating this for FS2004, then the FS2004 SDK would work just as well, if not better. (I don't quite understand why the tutorial uses the FS2002 SDK to make FS2004 scenery.)
The FS2004 SDK is available here.

EDIT: The ASP file is in fact a web page -- it just serves up a page using HTML, so there is no file of this name. No doubt the page just linked to the various SDK tools.

What colour do you paint the photo, if you want parts from the FS to show though? Black?

eg. If you want to get rid of the photo sea and let FS handle filling in the sea around the photo, do you paint the sea black on your photo textures?

Make sence?
