Boeing Field and Renton Mun.

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Has anyone done any sceneries for these?

If not I will just make one of my own as I feel there should be a custom airfield for the Boeing (probably the best know a/c manufacturer) Company. After all there is one for Airbus (Toulouse) and Douglas (Long Field) why not Boeing Field and Renton?

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

I don't think any Boeing aircraft are still manufactured at Boeing Field (although someone correct me if this is not the case); the narrow-bodied jets are done at Long Beach, the wide-bodies still done in Seattle, though not at Boeing Field... :ph43r:

Boeing builds and test fly its planes at Everett (Paine field, Snomish). I believe customer acceptance flights are then done from Boeing field.
If you look at Everett on Google earth (North side of Seattle) you get an idea just how big the Boeing Plant is !!

You are all mostly right in places :D
Boeing Field: A public airport owned by King County, named after Mr Boeing, Boeing the company still use it for test flying and delivery of it's aircraft
Everett: Builds the heavies in the fleet 777,747,767,787
Renton: (also in Seattle area) builds just 737s
Long Beach: Far as I know it's only building C17s now days (but then they have to build other military types somewhere.. eg F15,F18,AH64 Apache etc).
Longbeach is also home to their simulator guys ;)

I personally think Boeing field is fairly detailed already by default standards, so I've never felt the need to go look for sceneries sorry..

Edit: Boeing's defence business locations

Well of course it's just gross laziness to ask a question like that on a forum, when you can do your own search like anybody else on AVSIM or Flightsim >acne<
- but I remembered an interesting AI package that was done for Boeing field, so I went looking.
Couldn't find the file I was looking for but saw this on AVSIM:
boeingpkg.zip
File Description:
This scenery package includes scenery and afcad 2 files for Boeing Field and the Everett and Renton assembaly plants.

Yeah I've seen those but they only add default looking buildings where the factories are and a few extras but not a much details at Renton. I want to add in some airside details like unfinished static a/c etc.

Sorry about before I forgot that Everett was also mainly used. Renton is only used for 737's but used to be used for 757's as well. Also Wichita is a Boeing factory but I will probably make just Renton and maybe Boeing after that. There just aren't any proper renditions of Renton.
