Best NZAA

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Which freeware airport scenery do you recommend for Auckland? I'm about to do a flight into NZAA.

Depends whether you have RealNZ Auckland City or not I suppose.

Auckland 2005 has the city + airport (but cuts down your frames, and doesn't look too flash visually now), but is basically the only stand-alone package that includes a rendition of the airport.

There are other variations on the airport (mostly for users who have RealNZ Auckland) that can be used. A quick search on AVSIM will pull these up. ;)

Thanks Alex,
I did install Auckland 2005 and the airport for it. I see some clashes with aircraft occupying the same space even though I installed the exclude file for the static aircrat. Will do some investigating. Don't know about fps's as yet, but will post here later.

The best Auckland "NZAA" at the moment is and comes default, is in FSX ,and then the next best Auckland will be NZAA that will be released with Robin Corns Realnz Auckland X soonish
hhhmmm looks like FSX is the way to go .. :thumbup:

Yes, NZAA is one of the handful of high definition airports in FSX. I was pretty impressed how well the default NZAA lined up with the photo scenery in FSX. Almost seems not worth the trouble to build a new one...

Man! the FSX one is good.

What I did is used Shayne Butler's one and added in a few Airbridges pluse made a regional concourse and I ave it to where I want it now.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.
