Sorry guys, i think i may have forgotten to mention in the INSTALL instructions, that you NEED to make a COPY of the afcad file ( AF2_NZTH.bgl ) in my Thames "Scenery" folder, into FS9 / Scenery / World / Scenery.
This is necessary to make the flatten file for the airfield work properly.
Many apologies....................

Also forgot to include in the install instructions, the need for "EZ Fuel Tanks", by Sidney Schwartz.

Thought it was my "finger trouble"!!!...got round it by develping my own flatten switch....seem to work OK:

Flatten.0=5,S37 09.19,E175 32.51,S37 09.19,E175 33.44,S37 09.81,E175 33.44,S37 09.81,E175 32.51

Will revert to correct install!!

My Thames is looking pretty spot-on except for one small detail....

I am missing the building in front of the yellow hangar on the right, and
the similar building to the right of the left hand hangar (between the hangar
and the Mobil fitting. Obviously both from the same set of scenery that
I haven't installed.

Lawrie can you advise me which set these came from to save me downloading
everything that has "Buildings or Hangars" in their titles. I thought I had the field
covered but obviously not.

It's because of pests like me that I have steered away from designing sceneries.... :thumbup:

I'm kind of glad you did that-I've been working on a fix-up of the Kaipara Flats AF "trench" with a new flatten and couldnt figure out what I was doing wrong-was getting really frustrated then saw your post and tried copying the new AFCAD into "World" and hey, it worked! Now i just got to figure out excludes...

Sorry to trouble you Lawrie, but I am missing a texture for one of the hangars you are using and need your help identifing the right object. It's for the hangar next to the cessna building. see screenshot below

Hanger is part of the "EZ Vintage Hangers SS V3", object set, by Sidney Schwartz.

Make sure you have the "V3" version, as this has newer updated textures that the previous versions dont have.

Sorry Lawrie, no luck there. I have re-downloaded and replaced the textures I already had installed in the object library, but to no avail. Are you able to pinpoint the texture file that is used with this hangar? - perhaps I have it duplicated somewhere.

I'm also missing a texture for the bldg. with the 'Cessna' sign. It's the large hanger and I've installed all required textures. It's the one on the right of the previously posted screenshot.
I'll recheck my EZ downloads and library files just to be sure. Please post where I can find this texture.

Thanks Lawrie but that wasn't it. All it changed was the color from white to gray. I meant to indicate the hanger with the "Piper" sign, not the "Cessna" sign.Sorry about that.

Exactly the SAME hanger bulding, with just a DIFFERENT sign that i added to it.
I would say that you may already have that texture in one or more other active texture folder(s) in your sim.
Might have to be a good look through for double-ups, as this will cause the sim to "hunt" between any active texture folders containing the same texture, and usually FS cant resolve the problem of which one to use, so the building stays grey and untextured.
