Hi,

Which one of these would be best? i am just a casual, sightseeing flyer, who flys mostly in the South Island. (fiordaland, queenstown, mt cook and canterbury)

a) Red Baron Entertainment: Sim Pilot Experience - Mountains of New Zealand

or

b) Red Baron Entertainment: Sim pilot Experience -Roads and Rivers of New Zealand

PLEASE ANSWER THIS!!

and if you could, tell me the price of each option??

Thanks

If you are using FSX, then go for the mesh (Mountains of NZ). If you are using FS2004, and will do so for a while, go for the topo (Roads & Rivers. plus the freeware Red Baron mesh.
However these do two completely different jobs -- you really should have both for FS2004.
My choice is based on this: if you have just the high res mesh, then mesh = great, topo = poor. If you have just the topo, and install the 75m mesh, then mesh = good, topo = great.

If I was basing it on the assumption that youll move to FSX sometime soon, id suggest the Mesh as this can be used in FSX as well and is of higher resolution/better quality than the default FSX mesh. The Roads and Rivers data is closely comparable to the default FSX vector data so it would seem like a waste of money to effectively buy it twice....

As for price -
It can be purchased from here - http://www.geographx.co.nz/gaming.html 20m Mesh and Topo NZD105.00

I can't see it listed but I think for the the Topo only it is NZD40.00. The 75m Freeware Mesh is available from the same site.

You could also check out Simmarket.com do a search under Red Baron. Prices are in Euro's
