I have a lot of sceneries in various stages of completion, some nearly finished. Also im on holiday for 2 weeks, so plenty of time to finish off details and get some of them out there. Probably be a drought on addons from me till the next time i take some time off work.......... next month, another 10 days off...................... smile.gif

This is deffintly overkill for NZRC. My flying is based out of NZNV and I have been to NZRC many times and it consists of a runway and a road...windsock.. and thats it! no buildings, no nothing. In actual fact there isn't room in real life to fit much more up there on the hill where the strip is. Perhaps a little un-realistic..

I agree, it probably is. But hey, a little "modellers licence " was used on this, and a little imagination as well.
Its better than what Microsoft put there, (or didnt put there).
And,...hey,......... isnt Flight Sim all about "make-believe" anyway ?? Sim = Simulation, ie: not real.......
Simply un-install it if you do not like it,..............no harm done.
I thank you for looking at it anyway, and i thank you for reminding me of a detail i left out.... the windsock !!

Personally, the "extra" details like the buildings do add a bit of atmosphere to the place, and since I have never been or likley to ever get to NZRC having these extra's details really make the trip there worth it for me..... keep up the good work and can't wait for more scenery's like this.

An excerpt from the scenery read-me and install text,.....................

Before installation of this scenery, you will need to download, install and activate the full Runway-12 Static Objects LIbrary.
The main full Static Objects Library is divided into 3 separate downloads. You will need all 3 of them.
Also you will need several standalone object libraries for Runway-12 installed into the Static Objects Library as well.
These are "Matts Oshkosch Objects", and ALL the "Matts Trees" object sets. (You do not need the Rwy-12 scenery builder program).
The objects are freely available for download from Avsim.com at the following link.................

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=...;Go=Change+View

Go through the pages untill you find the required items, and then download and install.
Having the RUNWAY-12 Static Objects Library installed is very handy, as there is a huge amount of freeware sceneries out there for FlightSim that use these textures.
Once youve got them installed, no more starting at at a scenery with
ugly grey blank boxes around because of missing Runway-12 textures.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Neil, much appreciated.
A few screenies of dear old Grandma there wouldnt go amiss............

TO OTHERS that have downloaded this scenery.......................

I have recieved many PMs and e-mails about the buildings at NZRC.
If you dont like the FREE scenery,....................... UN-INSTALL it ............ couldnt be SIMPLER !!
The simple buildings were added to the scenery to add interest to it, to make it a more interesting
place to fly to.
There are hundreds of freeware sceneries out there that have details added to them that may not be there in real life,
simply to make the scenery a more attractive destination to fly to
If you prefer the bland empty look of NZRC as it is in real life, please e-mail me at snowman@nzff.org and i will
reply with simple instructions on how to remove the buildings.

Great scenery thumbup1.gif. Nothing wrong with the buildings in my opinion, they give it a bit more character.
