Anyone know of some good Bush scenery? eg short strips, hairy approaches etc. Maybe Alaska or Fiordland? For fs9 and freeware please.

Yep try this - the best freeware Alaska scenery out there - GlBayV2a.zip (60MB) and GlBayV2b.zip (90MB) at Avsim.

Cheers

I'd second that. Glacier Bay would have to be the tops.

Do a search on Holger Sandman at AVSIM. I'm sure that will bring up others.

If you want something more directed to Helo's check out the Hovercontrol Outposts from the HC website.

I'm real keen on the Bush strips. I have another set of basic Southern Alp Outposts ready for next weeks FS9 Friday night Multiplayer.

Glacier Bay v2 and RBE's topo include the best bush strips you will ever find! (Especially with RBE's just being grass strips slapped on the landscape, meaning they sloping up or down most of the time)

Many bush strips are up or downhill, it makes it more fun

Just found this site which is related to this topic. Nothing like a bit of inspiration to fire up the enthusiasm - Fiordland here I come.
