NZWN bump

In MS2020 is anyone feeling a distinct bump in the runwyay when taking off on Rwy 16? It's enough to lift up the nosewheel on the iFly 737 MAX. It is located about 200 to 300m from the start of the roll. This is with Flightbeam's NZWN installed. HHmmm I must try it with just the default FB to see how that goes.
I have only noticed this since SU16. I must check to see if there is an update from FB.

More like a dip at taxiway A3 I'd say.
The stock A320 showed a little nosewheel shock movement, but nothing to upset the takeoff roll.
They are tougher than Boeings, true
On another matter: I parked up at the terminal, expecting jetway connection.
Wasn't that in the FB package?
I did disable all ground vehicle effects, way back, in an effort to trigger a glider launch (Waggle the rudder)
Maybe I broke everything.

I think with NZWN you have to use ATC to operate the jetways. At least I have to as I kept the original jetways instead of the GSX replacements.
The bump is quite severe in that the nosewheel is forced off the ground. I may do a reinstall and see what happens.
I seem to spend more time fixing/maintaining MS2020 than I do flying it.

I'm not seeing that - you may have a legacy mesh interfering.
Time to backstep and incrementally switch off the likely addons?

I did make the mistake of not renaming my community folder before installing the last update so this may be a result of that. Some users were commenting on sharper terrain after the update. I might reinstall NZWN and see if that makes a difference. I wonder if the mesh was tweaked in places with SU16?

Actually, there are many issues in the sim atm.
Your post put me in a tubeliner for the first time in a long time.
I got the jetway to operate at NZWN, then idly dropped 10 bucks on Aerosoft's Pushback Pro.
Oh dear, no tug, no GPU, no nothing, except what looks like the freeware version with no vehicles.
How annoying.
I see their forum is full of complaints about crazy behaviour.

Just an update on Flightbeam's NZWN. Mir is aware of the issue following the SU16 sim update. He will be providing an update to fix this very shortly.

I gave up on MSFS totally because of a handful of issues including this. There are huge steps in airports all over the place, bushes in the middle of runways, windsocks pointing in different directions… I only use XP now because Laminar actually listen to their customers and the sim actually works. Rant mode OFF

Yes you are probably correct. I’ve never used XP before, however I’m too financially committed to the MSFS franchise now to change. 2020 seems to be going well for me now. Smooth and with few issues for me (NZWN and the upper South Island POI CTD issue being the main ones).

I totally get that, I’ve got a lot invested in MSFS too. I was just so bummed out the last flight that I tried to make in MSFS that I uninstalled it.

Are you regularly clearing out your cache? Especially after an update. Also make sure you either empty your community folder or temporarily rename it and let MSFS rebuild it and then add anything new back into your original community folder. I’m probably preaching to the converted, but just in case. Mine is running well, even after SU16.

Oh yeah, I tried all of that. I didn't have millions of addons that would cause the sim to stop working. I had an issue where, after a longish flight, all of the levels at the arrival airport were messed up, floating lights etc. Really annoying and Asobo refused to acknowledge that there was a problem. I wasn't the only one. I may do a reinstall at some stage but I think XP is a much better sim.
