Hi Timmo - looking good - is this FSX or FS 2004 or both?

Cheers

Looks awesome, if its GMAX it probably will go backwards depending wether you use spec and bump maps as well.

Ive finally had a bit of time to spend a couple of nights on this- here are the latest progress shots.

None of the buildings have had their textures applied but most things are in their correct place.

Still to do: Finalise aprons and taxi ways in FSXPlanner, Texture the buildings (could be difficult), place a few more objects (trees etc)....

So yep, just to let you know i havent forgotten about it!

Timmo just out of curiosity what are the specs of your machine and does it run FSX well?
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Just added specs to my signature.

Errmmm...yeah it runs fairly well now. Most scnery sliders are near the upper/middle, autogen near the bottom, traffic near the bottom and I get around 20fps....down to 15ish in busy places. I only got the new graphics card recently so there is still some tweaking to go on there...a grunty graphics card realllllllly helps a lot

Really good to see someone diving in, Timmo.
Goodonya, and if there is something to salvage for FS9 it will be a bonus.
