NZA Simulations are super excited to announce development has started on NZNS Nelson New Zealand, a new payware release.
Here is a little teaser of the progress so far.

We would also like to thank Blake and Terry for all of their hard work in helping NZA get to this point.

If you wanted a Cresco, I could have sent the design files for my original. It would be nice to convert to MSFS as a static aircraft, but I simply have not had time to to find out how to bring FSX/P3d planes across. I also have the FU-24. It would be great to see loaders and ag-planes which are common at airfields around NZ. Also bins and loaders at ag-strips.

Hi HybridNz and team- just saw your Hobart/Cambridge scenery and am super impressed at the level of detail included. If this is anything to go by, your NZNS will be an instant hit too! I operate in and out of Nelson several times a week so am looking forward to seeing it recreated virtually.

Might I suggest a few possible items to include for consideration if they haven't already been added?

The large timber mill on left base for 02 is a prominent visual arrival marker and would be great to see.

The Waimea Inlet that surrounds the airport is really tidal and looks pretty cool to fly over at mid tide. Not sure if a watermark has been thought of?



Tahunanui beach on short final for 20 packs out in the summer and is NZ's closest equivalent to St Maarten I reckon. Would be cool to see some crowds of people down there, and the windsurfers often seen just off the western end.

Boulder Bank Lighthouse is another good visual landmark for arriving from the north. 900 feet overhead it sets you up for the papis on the offset final for 20.

Cheers for that, we have started to have a chat about around the surrounding stuff and how far we go. Its good timing so will push this into the feedback and requirements.

Thanks for the feed back, We post a lot of the teaser stuff on facebook, I have started to push some of it to forums like this to help build a bit of excitement without giving too much away as the release trailer and surprise will be wasted.

NZA Simulations has been working hard to get NZNS - Nelson into our active Beta stage. We are stoked we can now finally bring you some more detailed screenshots. NZA are bug squashing and preparing to film the release trailer!

We are excited to announce NZA Simulations NZNS Nelson (Proline) and NZMK Motueka (Freeware) for MSFS2020 will both be released on the 1st of July 2021.
