After doing my first grass landing last week (IRL), I decided that I'd get some circuit practise in FS. But I noticed that there is no grass runway!
Using FS9, I have RealNZ Auckland City + Auckland Airports 2005 (+ Ardmore flatten in scenary.cfg) installed.
Being a bit of a scenary n00b... and still very confused about all this AFCAD business, I'd like some opinions on what my options are. Which of the following are actually possible and/or the best way to do it?
- Edit the Ardmore scenary to include the grass
- Use an updated AFCAD with the Ardmore scenary
- Ditch the Ardmore scenary altogether and just use another AFCAD
Obviously, I'd like to keep the scenary, as it adds a bit more realism to it, but am open to any and all suggestions.
Also, if keeping the scenary is an option, is it possible to remove the static aircraft? Some of them look truly awful (especially one of the twins at AFS) and they dont seem to do wonders for the frame rates either.
