Hi doing an FSX re install and just can't get woodbourne to come right. - I recall there was some discussion about this before. But, I was looking out the window, just like in school so didn't take any notice!.

Anyway I have tried it with nothing, tried it with Robins earlier RealNZ Marlborough, removed it, tried with Dougs Marlborough Part 1-5, no go, Removed and BGL NZWB removed from world scenery from the system, still get problem with flattens required.

Was it a bad file from M$oft perhaps?

Any help would be appreciated as I got not much hair left to pull out.

Thanks

If you have ORBX NZSI installed the following should fix your problems

To fix the elevation problems with Marlborough Airports
Go to FSX Senery World Scenery
rename the following

ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZOM_elevation_adjustment.BAK
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZPN_elevation_adjustment.BAK
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZWB_elevation_adjustment.Bak

To fix other ORBX conflicts from Marlborough go to
FSX ORBX FT_NZ FTX_NZSI_05_SCENERY/scenery
rename the following

ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZOM.off
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZOM_CVX.off
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZOM_objects.off

ADE_FTX_NZNI_NZPP.off
ADE_FTX_NZNI_NZPP_CVX.off
ADE_FTX_NZNI_NZPP_Objects.off

ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZWB.off
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZWB_CVX.off
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZWB_objects.off

Thanks Doug, problem is I don't have orbix SI or NI. Only other thing I can think of is I have VLC, I will try turniing that off. Then the next suspect is I heard somewhere that AI might have the incorrect elevations set whici disrupts the scenery. I will try turn that off tomorrow. Cheers I will report.

Any other ideas? I get also a partial runway disappear as I move along it.

Have you checked for duplicate AFCADs?

Thanks for the response . I have checked anything that that had nzwb in it. Never done any AFCAD editing though. I wonder if there is an issue with scenery priority???. Will check tomorrow. Currently have libraries at the top then airports, then photoreal then default stuff. Pretty sure all that is OK. Cheers.

I had the flatten problem with both NZWB & NZOM . I copied & pasted the AF2 NZWB & AF2 NZOM into the World Scenery/ Scenery folder & the problem disappeared. You might like to try this.

Yes, the installer for Real NZ Marlborough will put copies of these files into Scenery\World\scenery, or at least reduced-feature versions which just hold elevation data, as the default elevation is changed. So if you don't use the installer, you'd need to copy these over yourself. This goes for any airport where the default elevation is changed.
