Heya guy's a question for Robin Corn really, I can't figure out how to tag you Robin but anyway am seriously considering purchasing xplane11 and am wondering if you are ever going to make your subscription scenery compatible with it? I'm assuming they don't have anything too exciting for NZ, it's a shame, your scenery would look awesome

I certainly hope to give it a try, as well as Aerofly 2, just to see what works and what doesn't. I had planned to purchase each of these as I could afford them, but it hasn't happened yet -- maybe a few months down the track.

Those who follow my site via Facebook may have seen the X-plane development diary. Here's a video showing some experimental photoscenery in X-plane 11.

I did mention on my site that the default mesh is poor, but of course there is a donationware New Zealand 'Pro' scenery, which includes a much better mesh. Here's a shot with this mesh.

Gee this looks really promising, I was gonna just stick with Aerofly fs 2 as it blows mind but have decided to reinstall Xplane11 again after my expensive system crash solely because you are experimentire with it and I'm hanging out for some great NZ scenery in one if not both of these Sims :)

Here's a straight conversion of Taieri, from Real NZ Dunedin. I hadn't excluded the X-plane stuff, so I've just kept them out of the views here. And there's no photoscenery here at all.

A couple of shots which, with a bit of work on the trees, could rival the Prepar3d version:

Here's the sawmill side of the road:

...and from the other side, the road texture is lovely, and not part of Real NZ... the houses don't exist in reality, or in Real NZ, but are part of the default (or NZ Pro?) scenery. I love the autogen, these could be NZ homes, I've never said that about FSX/P3D autogen!

This is one of three critters running about the airfield, again I didn't put them there...

That looks pretty good Rob!

Bit of work if you've used multi materials on any objects.
