Roratonga by Lawrie Roache

Hi All,
I fly mainly in Europe, but have recently started island hopping across the Pacific. I found Roratonga (by Lawrie Roache) and installed it.
I have a problem with mainly the terminal buildings. The scenery displays the building roof's and the signage but no walls. Other objects
like people trying to walk are there as well.
I noticed in the readme file Lawrie gave a link for FSX Static Objects but that link no longer works. I thought that might be the problem.
I found another Static Objects Library on Flightsim but that did not cure the problem.
I run FSX under Win 10, I have no trouble with other island scenery i.e. NWWW.
Can anybody out there assist me please.

The old complete Static Objects LIbrary for FS9 is no longer available.
Someone else has gathered together a large library of FS9 objects, which i think are most of what was in the old SOL.
Its 2 parts on FlightSim.com these 2 parts are for FSX

Part-1: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php ... fid=177239

Part-2: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php ... fid=177244

Ive been battling cancer for the last couple of years, and have been very unwell.
I no longer have an FSX install, as my main machine and my backups were stolen in a burglary while i was in hospital.
Im not sure when, or if i will be returning to the FlightSim scene.

Lawrie,

Oh Lawrie I am so sorry to hear that news. All of it. As if the cancer is not difficult to deal with you have a low life burgling you as well just to make matters worse.
I hope the fact that you are out of hospital is an indication that things have improved...or the very least not got worse.
I also hope that you do manage somehow to get back into simming if that is what you would like to do.

Doug, I found in an old backup a file named sol.zip for FS2004. The readme says it is a complete collection of Lawrie's Static Objects Library. The readme is dated 06-07-2009, and has no name in it, but I think this might be the zip created by Robert Falzon, after Lawrie's website was hacked for the last time. I couldn't find it at any of the usual places, including the rogues.

Lawrie - My best wishes for the future, and thanks for all your help and advice over the years. I had lots of your scenery in my old FS9 Classic.
