somewere on my harddrive are three unfinished, barely started, repaints, I think iv got a bit bored with just painting textures, yes I can get bored easily.
I would like to try doing some scenery, I'v been talking to Ian but thought I shoudl post here to to see what software ppl find to be the easiest. I woudl like to try NZWG, as its close to me,I woudl like to do a fs9/fsx version if possible.
My only experiance with scenery would be some muking about with afcad, and I can paint textures for aircraft, but thats all I don't know about all this texture maping stuff etc..
Thanks

I too am giving scenery a go, You should start with Paraparaumu which is simplish but also interesting enough to do(I considered it myself) and has not already been done well.
my starting attempt is this just doing the textiures for it now.

Jimmy, maybe this would be a good project for
some tutorials.Maybe you should team up with Ian, and the three of us could do a photoshoot at Wigram.
I know that Ian would LOVE to do a GMAX Wiggy:)

I remembered seeing the model of the control tower ronindanbo is working on as a Sketchup object, so I downloaded it, placed it in Google Earth and took a screenshot.
It be a modern world we live in.
Still, I won't tell ya where it is, I only know because dan mentioned it to me.

Hey Ian.........I was in the tower today at NZDN and got a photo or two that you simply cannot get from any where else in or around NZDN. These may help for areas such as the fire and rescue building plus the Ground handlers area which is impossible to view from any where else.......This entire section (ground handlers area) of the airport has been missed in every single NZDN designed for FS. Its a large area that most people never see........but it's there.......and can be seen with ease from the air. Flick me an email and will sort it out.
