Anyone due to visit NZRO with a camera?

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

A bit of a long shot (no pun) but if anyone is likely to get to NZRO over the next few weeks, and might be able to take a few photos, please let me know. I'm just after some shots of the terminal (airside would be great, but not necessary if you don't have access, just the other sides would do) as shown here:

This is just to make a quick addition to the Subscription, I would hope to get to Rotorua at some stage, but not before the next issue of the Sub, due in a couple of weeks.

Can't offer payment, except a Sub if you don't already have one.

I'm in Rotorua tomorrow. I won't have airside acces but if I have time I will take some photos.

Cool, Paul, just a quick overview of the back -- and side if poss -- would be great. I think that half of this terminal is what I already have (the top half in the image), so I hope to be able to reuse the existing model and just stick the new bit on the end:)
I don't need to get this exact initially, as I just want something to 'represent' the terminal extension in the meantime, but I really, really need to redo Rotorua this year, as I'm now able to do it justice with the new Subscription photoscenery.

That'd be great, although 'off work with an injury' invokes an image of you hobbling around on crutches trying to take pictures
But yeah, I'd certainly appreciate it.
And thanks for your order!

Brilliant, thanks for that.
If you use any sort of file-sharing such as OneDrive, then that would be the simplest, but it does depend on having a good fast internet upload speed. Let me know if that's going to be a problem, and we can sort out something else.

Great photos, James, that'll do the job nicely. And there's a great shot of the tarmac side of that old rust-roof hangar, which has always annoyed me in my earlier Rotorua, as the only photo I had was oblique and blurry. Now I can fix it.

Interesting to see what's changed since I was last there, and what hasn't.

Beautifully detailed shots, I think you must have done this before:)
