Just noticed the following scenery over at Flightsim.com:
"Christchurch X high resolution photo real scenery that covers approximately 1200 square kilometers of Canterbury, New Zealand. This Christchurch X scenery blends in and works best with ORBX NZSI but will also work with VLC (some autogen may not show up)."
and I have the following question: how much autogen will not show up if I'm using VLC?
Enquiring minds an' all.
TIA

This is were I wanted to keep the AGN default and from the start, .... later Doug got a little sidetracked and started using ORBX ANGs which unless you have that specific scenery it will not show up.
It makes it a problem for any or most who are reliant on default without paying for the ORBX products .
I actually wonder if these can be reverted back to the default rather than loosing the work created , I'm serious not sure about this but it must be possible.

Bugga!
Actually, I do have FTX NZ North & South Islands, but for various reasons I refuse to install them (again).
Oh well!

There is not a lot of ORBX agn most of it is along the northern side of the Waimak river but it does have some default agn mixed in.
The ORBX agn could be converted back to the default but would take quite a few hours to do it.

Ive taken a break .. well not really, I'll hook back into completing areas that seriously need a looking at .... Christchurch is the second largest city , after doing Auckland , Wellington , Dunedin and the many others, sometimes one need a break so the smaller Hokitika , Greymouth and Westport was pleasing to do simply because of the size.
Now If you want to have a go Dorian idea would for starters go to the very Northern corner of the photo and work down and across .. you would have to isolated and have two scenery's as so you don't affect current ANGs , reason for this area its not so important giving a good learning base.

I found Avsim a pain in the ass to use, mainly due and since the the site was hacked those few years back, still could be arranged or could send you a direct link.
