Hi all, trying to install NZWL scenery on fs9, the one snowman made, as his site is down, I cant find his photo scenery file? I found another for fs9 for chch, and I downloaded all the other files he says you need, but when I load it up only the hangar is there, and all the trees are misplaced, only runway 22 and 04, so I think my problem is that I dont have his scenery, as its loading the default one of my current photoreal scenery? I think it was made by Ian Warren, but any help, or any one have snowmans scenery for chch they could please send me? Please help, and cheers!
Logan

Logan , Snowman to my knowledge did not build a Wellington (West Melton) nor Christchurch - For FS9/2004 all these can be d/loaded from flightsim.com for default FS9 you want the NZCHV05 , either put my name in or Robin Corn and this will so you the best and entire list , run into problems installing just give me a yell .
Edit WL West Melton .. anything Lawrie did for FS9 was lost due site error and crash's , Sorry ! - really hate that sever mucks ya around , for education or flight training reference it maybe best to go to FSX and put VLC in be the better approach .

Thanks Ian, I did try yours earlier but for some reason I get massive lag looking towards the terminal area, ie 5 FPS, I really wanted that to work, but it must be my graphics card etc, just when I point my camera toward the terminal, do you have any idea how I could fix this? Ie like is there a way of lowering the resolution of the buildings/ removing some so I can run it lag free, I really just need an outline of the airport as I practics circuits, and ill head over to NZWL on your scenery to check it out, thanks

Okay, so I took my plane out west on the FS9 scenery you made, but I never found NZWL just endless houses

I am sure it was your scenery as it was lagging heaps at NZCH terminal, regarding FSX, are there good sceneries for NZWL on it? Without killing the frames? Just really the runway and a few trees/buildings really. Cheers

Nice, what scenery do you use for that on FSX? Any recommendations?

One of those tuff guys was shaking in his shoes when the trees at the boundary came running to meet him!

Logan,
The base photoreal scenery Lawrie refers to was done by John Haines and the NZScenery team way back. Unfortunately, this 500 Mb file has now been lost to cyberspace (unless Lawrie or Charl still have a copy and they are prepared/willing to host it via Dropbox). Thought I still had a copy, but now I remember ditching it as I didn't particularly like some of the tonal differences between various scenery tiles. Sorry.
