Well, I gave up on Whisplacer - it just would not show me the thumbnails for the VLC objects, even though it knew they were there...
So I went back to where I started, in ADE, where I had been having the same problem in the v1.4.5x I had installed; I upgraded to the latest 1.6.x and it got even worse. The VLC bgls were processed as they should be, the thumbnails were visible in ADE's preferred thumbnail location, but it would not index them together. In the end I just wrote down the GUIDs for the ones I wanted to use and added them individually. No way am I going to do that for the several thousand objects which are listed in the ADE Object library Manager.
So we made some progress. There is lots of fiddly stuff still to be done, but I think I have broken the back of it.

I am going to fly now. I have some nice coolant at hand. No more trying to fix other people's software. plane.gif

First try in FSX - I did a bit in FS9, including my Edwardian Airshow, which I was able to resurrect the other day; BTW Ted Cook just put up a 1908 Avro, so I might use that instead of the Dunne8, which does marvellous somersaults, but won't fly as an AI beast sad.gif
