For anyone that may have missed it, a new bgl file which adds all of the unlisted airfields in the Orbx FTX NZNI package to the GPS and airport selection menu has been released. smile.gif When combined with the similar file for NZSI which was released some time ago this gives you about 850 airfields selectable in NZ! (you will need to sign up for the forum to download the file, but it's just your standard free forum sign up process) A lot of these unlisted strips are just a runway with no other details, but many are in very spectacular locations and quite a few of them do have other details like hangars, parked aeroplanes etc so it's good fun exploring them.

That's nice. Just wondering if an airstrip file will be created for Plan-G as well... It has POIs and Huts for NZNI but no airstrips. I'll try to extract the bgl into csv file smile.gif

I had a good look into this. The main problem is not around re-formatting the data -a simple script would do that-, but the lack of data that's required by Plan-G. More specifically: elevation data. Looking that all up would take a looong time, that I don't have. So, back to the KMZ files than smile.gif

The NZNI airstrip list for Plan-G is now released smile.gif

Finally, I can start my bush-tour on the North Island.

I think the problem might also be related to not being signed in/a member?
