NZQN Queenstown Airport by Peter Lohr - WHITE aprons

Lately, I installed the superb scenery of NZQN Queenstown (New Zealand) by Peter Lohr. Naturally, I have the Red Baron payware mesh by Christian Stock.
Most of the airport ground surfaces (aprons, carparks etc) are all WHITE....
Apparently, the asphalt texture which paints the airport aprons and carparks is not showing up...

I have tried everything I can think of to solve this.
Placing ALL textures in the Main FS9 Texture folder.
Re-downloading all older 'Must haves' like Airport 210, VOD, Nova, etc.
All these were placed in the MAIN Texture folder of FS9 to ensure they ARE being loaded.

Unfortunately, since the airport was created using AIRPORT for Windows, any modifications made using AFCAD or AFX editor or ADE9x are buried UNDER the textures created by the older programme AIRPORT - which seems to place its polygons at a HIGHER layer than all the modern scenery programs.

Anyway, since this scenery has been downloaded by thousands of simmers,
with nobody mentioning this gross flaw, then it's probably something on MY setup that is causing this unfortunate WHITE polygons...which indicate a texture(s) is missing or NOT being loaded by FS9.

Anybody got any ideas as to what might cause this.....??

Some screenshots of these white textures at Queenstown are shown on this page:

Apparently, this is not an isolated incident. Others have run into these white textures at NZQN, and a patch used to be available at SDZN (Scenery Design New Zealand), Peter Lohr's site.
The mysterious thing is that it's NOT a universal problem, or Mr. Peter Lohr would have fixed it soon after launching and uploading it for all simmers.

Ron , I have a complete and new install of FS9 and the many files which i believe should get this scenery up and running again , least fingers crossed , been a while since i visited "Pete's Southern Triangle" , least that what he and i called it back then , the biggest problem is finding the original texture palette used , all your below appear correct , be interesting to see what result i get.

Placing ALL textures in the Main FS9 Texture folder.
Re-downloading all older 'Must haves' like Airport 210, VOD, Nova, etc.

The problem is likely caused by a conflicting or duplicate file in another scenery. Try unchecking other sceneries one at a time and see if that clears it up. If you find the offending folder, then you need to find the offending bgl file. I do it by moving half the files out and then working down. Takes 5-10 minutes.

Ian, I had a backup disk crash a while back and lost a bunch of stuff including all my NZ photoreal files. I got my payware sceneries and some freeware from avsim, flightsim and Robin but am still missing some. They were on the Snowman site but unfortunately that's down. I wrote to Lawrie but he doesn't have backups. I noticed you have an FS9 setup and wonder if you have some of those sceneries especially Canterbury/Christchurch, Timaru and any others not available elsewhere.

Thanks,
Rich

I wish to convey my warm appreciation for everyone here who contributed some advice or hint to assist with solving the issue of white textures.
The problem was solved thanks to Dorian who mailed me the Patch.
After installation....Queenstown was clothed in all its glory as Peter Lohr intended it.

Thanks, dear Kiwis...

Ronald -

Last night I emailed Peter for his permission to upload this somewhere more permanent, and he is happy to have this done. I see that someone at FSDeveloper has offered to upload any missing files, so I've passed Peter's authorisation onto him. He doesn't have the patch though. Maybe you can keep an eye on the FSD thread and make sure that he has the file, or arrange to upload it to Avsim/Flightsim yourself.

Thanks for taking an interest. I appreciate your concern and have already mailed the patch created by Peter Lohr to Kevintampa5.
He kindly offered to deal with this matter himself, and upload it to both Avsim and Flightsim.
This would ensure that this patch is readily available to any flightsimmer who wishes to acquire it in the future.
Though FS2004 is just a fun pastime, some bug that spoils one's fun can become quite infuriating, too! I tried everything I could think of.... but could NOT get rid of those white textures!!!
When I discovered over the Web that a patch existed for this very problem, I endeavoured to acquire it by calling out for assistance.
Thankfully, chaps like yourself - who are willing to lend a helping hand - heard and answered my call.

I appreciate the suggestions of every person who offered some helpful advice. What a blessing these forums can be to a simmer in distress!!
However, if the patch is readily available for download, nobody will have to waste time hunting for it again.
A fellow by the name of Dorian Davis graciously forwarded the patch to me....and the white textures vanished after installing it.

Jolly good of you, Toprob, to take time out to contact Peter Lohr.
He sent me a couple of emails and it's probably because you spoke up for me...
Considering I'm a total stranger to him, Mr. Peter Lohr was most eloquent and friendly in his messages.
Since he is Queenstown's creator and also came up with the patch for it, it is most extraordinary that even he took time out to lend support for a scenery he created over
a decade ago.. As a FREEWARE package.
One hardly receives such helpful and prompt support for a PAYWARE product....!!!

With sincere thanks and appreciation,
Ronald

P.S. Please excuse the week's delay in replying, but some urgent matters came up and had to be dealt with.
