NZQN Elevation Problem

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby PacificBlue » Wed Apr 10, 2013 5:02 pm

Arvo all, been using the NZQN freeware scenery by Peter Lohr and I have the following problem. My inbound AI aircraft land about the runway and stay there the entire time, their wheels never make contact with the ground. The catch is, because I know it sounds like an elevation issue is that when FS9 loads all the AI aircraft are on the ground, taxi out and takeoff that way. But as soon as the arrivals come in that all changes, please see the screenshot link below.

There is a "Lake and River fix" that adjusted elevations in certain airports Mount Cook being one , this also adjusted elevations with updated AI caused floating aircraft , you find the fix - may still be found at Flightsim.com under Peters name and or AVSIM .

Will have a play around with it Ian, added some AI Cessna's for the Milford Sound flights and they disappear inbound to NZQN about 3 or 4 miles out in the mountains. May have to try and make then IFR flightplans and see if it still happens.
