Was wondering if anyone could please provide me with instructions on how to make VLC Ashburton compatible with FTX NZSI? In a thread posted late last year NZEddy provided links to the Orbx forums on how to do this, however, these links are no longer active. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry, I did mean to take a look at this when you first contacted me. Although the normal technique I use for compatibility won't work at Ashburton, luckily the Orbx facilities match well enough to retain them. So I'd just deactivate these two files in GodzoneAshburton\Scenery:
NZAS_ADEX_VLC.Bgl
NZAS_ADEX_VLC_CVX.Bgl
...by changing the bgl extension to bak.
You'll also need to deactivate this Orbx placement file in ORBX\FTX_NZ\FTX_NZSI_05_SCENERY\scenery:
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZAS_objects.bgl
This should definitely/probably work, although I can't test it at the moment. There may be a couple of issues still, but it should be usable. (From memory, there might have been a bit of a problem with the Orbx flatten at the airport boundaries.)

Hi Robin,
I've tried the above but the airports still a mess.

Sorry about the size

Is there another file I need to remove?

I didn't intend to make this compatible (it was one of the VLC airfields, after all, and Orbx actually made a nice Ashburton airfield) but since I'm planning on doing a dual installer now that P3D is working well, I'll include a patch if I can get it to work properly with Orbx.
Lots of dual installers to do, though, so it might be a week or two.

Wow, that was a fast reply!
Thanks Robin, I'll stick with Orbx in the meantime. Look forward to an update soon,
Cheers,
