Hiya Guys,
Just a quick heads up.
I just found these sceneries available here - www.isra.ch/
If, like me, you also enjoy flying in Switzerland, then these sceneries are a must.
A few have previously been released as freeware, but the rest were only available to pilots of the Virtual Swiss Air Force.
They are now all freely available.
They are for FS9 & Switzerland Professional.
There are also a couple for FSX, although I can't comment on these, as i'm still with FS9 for now.
One scenery, Buochs, has a cavern hangar in the mountain & this has been reproduced, complete with some Mirage IIIS suspended from the roof.
One actually moves along as you taxi underneath!!
I'll just add that i have no connection to the designer, except that i have been a fan of his work for some time now.
Hope someone finds this useful.
Regards,
Ross.

There is a thread for these, if the mods feel like moving it:

I too was taken by Isra's sceneries, not to mention his amazing Mirages.
I didn't realise it was exclusively done for the Virtual Swiss AF but that explains why work of this standard was hidden from view.

I've had CHPRO for a long time, and been somewhat disappointed as it didn't live up to its outrageous purchase price.
I'm guessing that not many have it, either.
I put some screens up at AVSIM recently showing these sceneries, and I see they have sunk virtually without comment.
Still, if you do have CHPRO, it's a welcome addition to the sim.
The cavern Ross mentions looks like this:

I am so tempted to work up a batch of AI Mirages emerging from their mountain fortresses, and buzzing the Swiss valleys...

I agree, Charl.
CHPro was a present to me, so i'm lucky i didn't have to pay for it.
I too would LOVE an ai package like you mentioned.
There's currently nothing like that around.
I've been lucky to have been to Switzerland a few times in the past & the sight of an F5 Tiger or F/A-18 Hornet screaming up a valley BELOW you is AWESOME.
I do believe these sceneries were done by a guy called Pete, aka Bigfoot & that Isra is just hosting them on his site.
The few that used to be available were on another site until that closed down.
Regards,
Ross.

Ah, OK I was puzzled as to how Isra found time to do the planes and all that scenery, too!

No mirage, I will post a video clip yet, of that wonderful cavern full of toys.
