Orbx NZNI

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

I don't spend the time over at the Orbx forums , but was it not the word that the North Island was to be released in May this year , so far not a peep least to my knowledge not even a snippet , I remember it mentioned that it was only a case of placing the mesh because the textures were very much the same as the South Island was the reason it was not going to take too long to produce - has Orbx walked away from it .

I don't think they make many announcements well before release anymore...I am 90% certain they will be doing it but they will probably post preview pics one or two weeks before they do release it

Strange that was said ... I did notice one thread topic called 'a sneak peek' and quite a few others stand in the wings for a while , May is only a month away .

Orbx no longer post pre release details, once you see previewed screenshots you know it is in beta testing.

I suppose by doing that they don't put pressure on themselves by having to get something out on a particular date.

There's some other "major release" in the wings at the moment that they're being a bit coy about. Maybe they're waiting to get that out of the door first.

I hope they put it out soon - I've been holding off on getting NZSI until they release NZNI as well.

Something is coming, look at the top of the page, something is coming we shouldn't miss. Marketing ploy or something juicy??
