Hello

I installed the Hamilton Scenery and it seems to be stopping FS9, and the whole computer as soon as the scenery is loaded. It could be becasue I may have missed few steps so my questions are:

1. Should the scenery work on its own, without adding the agn's or installing the helipads?

2. If I need to add the agn's but don't have Hamilton Photoreal, where should I install them? - Better still, where do I find the Hamilton Photoreal scenery?

3. Do I need the helipads, even if don't plan landing a helicopter in Hamilton any time soon?

Appreciate any help or advice.

Regards - Ran

no you dont need agns or helipads or fences etc... but you do need to put the afcad in for the hospital only because you can still land there anyway without all the extras
anyway the short answer is it can stand alone by itself you can even take building bgl files out one at a time so just have a play around add or take out what you need ,,also hamilton photoreal textures came out with the Godzone mag by Robin Corn ,at the moment i dont think they are avalible ,but i think they may be getting a make over or something keep checking back and see what happens ,,,
hope this helps mike

Thanks

I think I may have a memory hardware fault. Looks like flying into Hamilton pushed memory usage to a 'bad place'. Its brand new DIMMS so I will re-seat etc and try again.

yup no problem i can tell you that nobody has had any frame problems with the scenery with max everything still doesnt effect the beta test team ,so id say it is something to do with your puter if you can run other scenerys such as mountcook or photoreal even a freeware airport that would have more single faces than my hamilton city as it was made with boxes with a photo paste on the sides ,the biggest frame hit would be the stadium or the hospital each with a bgl scenery file that you could remove
anyway hope all this info may help in your problems with install
