testers sought for NZQN SIDSTAR for PDMG NGX

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I've been working on modifying the old FS9 version of the NZQN SIDSTAR file to make it work in the new PDMG 737 NGX. I have a version which will show the NZQN RNAV Approaches and SID's but I don't have enough time to flight test it. If anyone is interested, drop me a PM, and I'll mail it to you.

I'm still working on the VOR approaches, there is still something in the syntax which is stuffing things up. That and I have to find a way to convert the LARC/RARC commands of the old version into somthing that uses waypoints on the DME arc, since PDMG haven't implemented ARC fixes just yet.

David Gunson on Soviet ATC: "They have a super system there. When you want to fly from say Moscow to Leningrad, you are give three things: A height, a route and a speed. If you deviate from any of these three things you are joined by two MIG's on each wing and you land at the nearest available airfield. The passengers continue by coach, and the crew are never seen again. ... It's a super system, they don't get repetitive faults...

Niel,s sure your in the right spot , plenty here have the PMDG NGX and its great , and seen Queenstown as the probmatic area , sure you will get plenty of fliers with the 737-800 to try and test your SID/STAR out .
