As a non-Kiwi, I hesitate to question this but is anyone else finding the NZNP Vortac smack dab on the departure end of runway 23. While it's location makes for a dandy straight-in instrument approach, it's a bit of a challenge for anything other than exremely STOL departures and, I suppose, arrivals would want to be a little high and long .

(Make sure to get the Libraries downloaded and installed too- you'll need em )
