Invercargill Airport

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby ardypilot » Sat Nov 25, 2006 11:34 pm

I am using Ian Warrens great photoreal Invercargill Airport addon for fs2004, but whenever I fly there, I get a tremendous FPS hit, due to what I think, is the large amount of static 3D cars in the terminal carpark.

Would it be possible to remove a certain file to fix this? If so, could someone please guide me though the process?

Cheers.

hmm is that the one with the sheep in the field that sits just infront of the rwy threshold??

And has all the hot air ballons up beside the airport.....

Its a nice scenery but too many little objects.

I found the best Invercargill scenery was the one done by Ian Warren And Murray Hall.It covers an area of 1100 square kilometres. The one with the Balloons Covered a smaller area and I think it was an earlier version, although I stand to be corrected.

Yep, thats the one I am talking about. It includes photoreal coverage of the surrounding area, including Bluff, and has a few custom 3D buildings!
