As Eddy states, VLC uses technology and references that only work in FSX so won't work in FS9- If you want something similar than the Red Baron stuff is your best bet.

In saying that, if you have fairly modern hardware then the difference in price between the Red Baron package ($100) and the VLC package ($65) will get you a copy of FSX off trademe if you spend some time looking
