Just like to say that if anybody is hesitating about buying the add on 20m mesh from Geographix, then do not! Well spent money, fast service from them and helpful email contact when I had some problems after installation.

The 20m mesh will become the new standard. I look forward to a 10m mesh!!

Nice to buy a product like this, and get something that I am very happy with.

(I am not connected with Geographix, just happy with their service and the quality of the product!!)

Thanks for sharing that happytraveller.

I'm just wondering does the high standard mesh any inpact on framerates, or cause your system to run slow?

I have been considering puchasing the mesh but am not sure how my 2.4ghz system would handle it.

Some screenshots would be nice to see as well ;)

I'm tempted too, but I don't think my FS2002 with only integrated graphics would realistically benefit.

I've got it too, and it's definitely my favourite FS addon, in conjunction with the topographical scenery.

Just like to say that I have the Geographx mesh installed on a 3 year old laptop, (2.0gHz, 512 Mb RAM) and the system still seems to work fine, so I assume that there is little or no impact on frame rates (was around 17-20 the last time that I checked). Things like Traffic 2004 seem to hit my frame rates much more.

One thing that is I liked so much was the excellent email help that I got from Red Baron and Geographx aftewards. I had some problems with cliffs appearing on lakes (such as at Queenstown) and I received excellent online support from them.

I know that it looks a lot to pay, but when you think of the work that has gone into developing this mesh, then I do not resent paying for it. You will never look back!!

HI everyone I'm Stephen (username Codge) I bought the 20m & Topo 2 days ago very next day see the article on Flightsim.com by Christian Stock, then find a link today on Avsim for this forum that has only been going a short time right here in NZ! This just gets better all the time. I LOVE the 20m & topo, buy it you will not regret. I seem to be getting better framerates!Sounds weird I know. I am a miser too by the way and hate to spend money on anything. You get what you pay for remember. It is my first payware purchase, I ummed and ahhed for ages over it and finally bit the bullet two days ago. I have one disapointment, and that is that I waited so long to buy it. I live in Broad Bay,Dunedin.

Sorry to duoble post but I forgot to say I also have a 2.4gig AMD and 9600 Pro ATI and 1.5gig DDR2 RAM. I havn't learnt to do screen shots yet sorry,it's on the to-do list. If those of us who have the mesh could get it together and have a multiplayer session or two (thousand)that could be fun. Anyone ste up to host? Teamspeak? I will get a Teamspeak server going and post the IP,unless you guys are already doing it can someone post the details on this thread. Thanks in advance

I agree. I do not fly in our virtual NZ without the mesh & Topo add on. Once you see the difference, it is almost impossible to go back to simming without it. Absolutely essential
