I must add my name to the 'wishers' for Milford, Peter. Your sceneries are exceptional.

I am using FSX most of the time these days for my own flying (although still developing happily for FS9, as that remains the major market) and Milford Sound itself looks spectacular enough with the GeographX 75m mesh... don't have the payware, I fear. I use the flatten Christian recommends to bring the airport down from 800 feet (wise move...) which makes the hinterland look slightly strange (too flattened behind the airport) but is essential.

With sliders maxed there are some bloody trees in the middle of the runway but, hey, NZMF was never easy smile.gif

I've always flown my own MF sightseeing Islander in there in the past but am now using Jon M's lovely Caravan repaint for the default FSX plane. Great work.

Hey, y'all.... what NZ airports have you successfully tested/used in FSX? I have not got to try Peter's Mt. Cook and Queenstown in FSX yet, but ought to. Anybody tried them?

Mark

Hello Mark , I 'm using all the old FS9 scenery & NZ airport's installed on X albeit with missing ground texture , requires my return to areas , slowly workin on Dunedin airport , just can't get out off DAK paint mode rolleyes.gif it just to much fun plane.gif

Count me in as well. The Queenstown and Mount Cook were superb. Why, when grandma saw Queenstown she did a flip. Wasn't her fault,I was too busy looking out at the beautiful rendition of the airport. laugh.gif
