What about the Interislander? i know it isnt a place but its still scenery right? or would it have to be a ship-shaped-wingless-floatplane-aircraft-with-no-lift-force-AI? either way it would be good to have it going between picton and wellington as that is where i fly mostly

hey snowman, is it at all possible to swap some of your awesome airports and make them work on fsx? ive tried just putting them straight on but the results were mixed, a couple of the building show up but most of them turn in invisible but you can tell they are sort of there because at the right angles they block out other features. How much is involved in making them work on fsx?

Unfortunately, i cant help you there Goose.
I no longer have FSX, ditched it some time ago.
A lot of the building textures wont show in FSX, they were designed in a format for FS9, that FSX wont display properly.
Youll have to try and convince someone to convert them, or try your own hand and building scenery.

oh ok, cheers anyways. Any tips for me then? do you use a certain program or anything? is it pretty hard to do or relatively easy? cos their are a few little airports i wouldn't mind trying my hand at

i was in Paihia, in the bay of islands, in the holidays and i was facsinated by the helipad they have there. nothing special about it other than the location. it is just up from the beach (5m or so away) and the footpath along the main road goes right next to the landing area. people lean on the small wooden fence watching the helis as the land/take off. it is quite spectacular. also a few minutes out of Paihia is a small grass airstrip that runs right next to the road. a cessna took off (almost in formation with our car) just as we were driving past. it was pretty cool. so basically the bay of islands area would be a nice add on

I would really really really love a photo real or just very good quality of Lake Kariparo in the Waikato, as i grew up there and would love to fly there on FSX.
at the moment the FSX mesh that I have there is nothing that slightly resembles what it is, the lake edge isnt too bad but the elevaztion is very bad.

Id really love to see the Whangarei strip. The stock FSX scenery is pretty...non existant. And Great barrier would be cool.
