Thank you omitchell and ian for your prompt replies to my query, it sure sounds as if FTX NZQN has some problems. (S'pose they don't want to make it compatible with VLC....Pity) Would be great if you come up with the answer Ian, I will keep an eye on the forums in the hope of a fix.

Working with the area a around Omaka, it is looking much better, rather having the steps and ridges still have to edit the flatten in a few place , done by placing the flatten in and around rivers and tree lines.
