What's with the Purple Plastic Water though?? surely one of the 'xx'X brand companies has made decent water for the Newer MS Sim?

Yeah!
See the sim goes:
"OK here's a message: I am water. Accept this."
The brain, being an amazing and compliant thing, decodes this and remembers it as "Water"
Coming from an FS9 perspective with a different conditioning, I see the FSX "Water Message" and go: "Huh?"
FS9 has had a LOT of attention to make the water realistic.
I doubt either sim has ownership of Real Water, but seemingly FSX hasn't made enough of an effort yet, that I have seen.
I don't know enough about it, which is why I ask.Last edited by Charl on Fri Aug 09, 2013 8:52 am, edited 1 time in total.

This was a Black and White photo colourised or rinsed ... true FSX cow poohin the river , exactly what the "greenies" are complaining about , and whiles i type have 'Prince' playing in the background .

Anything the had anyone doing photo scenery across the NZ showed - the Old screens - they showed horrid gable roof problems as you leave primary photoreal scenery addons so down graded because in words years back they hijacked the texture pattern to suit the ORBX group , finally the must have listened and you can now run photoreal scenery without the horrid rooftops . If you look at the Christchurch photo real without Doug's little fix you will see what i mean .. simply isolate those 2 small files by renaming or move to a seperate folder .. You then will see what ORBX did to the NZ photo real .
